Skipping Spring and Straight To Sept.
May. 13th, 2008 01:38 pmLooks like it's going to warm up to the temps of the few days of hot weather we normally get in Aug/Sept around here.
There's just never any happy medium! From 50 odd to 90 in one day.
..EXCESSIVE HEAT OUTLOOK THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FOR THE ENTIRE SAN
FRANCISCO AND MONTEREY BAY REGION...
( THIS SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT WILL SERVE AS AN EXCESSIVE HEAT OUTLOOK FOR THE ENTIRE SAN FRANCISCO AND MONTEREY BAY REGION FOR THE PERIOD THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. )
It will be a miserable few days since I can't have the windows open at night living on the ground floor.
There's just never any happy medium! From 50 odd to 90 in one day.

Julius Caesar
You scored 61% = Tragic, 27% = Comic, 15% = Romantic, 36% = Historic

You are Julius Caesar. Set during the mid-March in Rome, Julius Caesar tells the story of the conspiracy against and assassination of Julius Caesar. While not considered one of Shakespeare's Histories, Julius Caesar is a fictionalized account of a true story. What your score tells us about you is that you are most likely a complex individual who, like Brutus, may struggle between the conflicting demands of friendship, loyalty, and patriotism. However, also like Brutus, you are undoubtedly someone to whom your friends often go before making a big decision. You are their rock, and they wouldn't think of doing anything without first asking you what you think. However, like Caesar, himself, you tragic flaw, might be that you don't take advice or criticism well even if it is constructive. Take heed to listen to good advice when you hear it, and for gosh sake... beware the ides of March.

I just finished 'I Remember You Not Fondly'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's done! [does happy dance]!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! And I finished it before the year was out. This is the longest thing I've written since 'Oaths' nearly twelve years ago.
I need to tweak and edit, but hope to have the last part posted soon!

'I Remember You Not Fondly' (20/20)
May. 13th, 2008 11:06 pmI did it! The story is now complete! Thanks to everyone who has followed along over the last year. You have no idea what your comments have meant to me. And now those of you who told me you were waiting till it was done can read it!
Rating: R for violence & non-consensual sex.
Notes: A story in the Bloodties series, set in the Star Trek future/time line, but no ST characters, just the 'Mirror, Mirror' concept.
Characters: Methos, Duncan MacLeod, MirrorMethos, Kronos, Silas, Lucien LaCroix, Original Characters
Summary: When Methos' past becomes part of the present, the consequences could be deadly for those close to him.
If you're new to the series, you can find an overview here.
I Remember You Not Fondly ~ Part Twenty
( Triona looked at herself in the mirror of the cabin that was permanently set aside for her here on the 'Scotia', the flagship of the Imladrin Planetary Union. ‘Like death warmed over’ was the most charitable thing she could say for herself. )
Coming soon, the sequel, All We Ever Find (well, soon relatively speaking!)
