Meandering Fic Thoughts

Now that strangevisitor7 has started posting her current story, the cat's more or less out of the bag as far as Chris and Charlotte go. Her current story, Each Must Know His Part, is the reason I was writing Too Young For Heaven, so she could post hers. However, I'm really stop and go at writing these days, and it didn't seem fair to hold up her story because I'm a slacker :)

'Man of the Family' (01/01)

This is the snippet I mentioned in my post earlier today. I've worked on it a bit, so it's more of a ficlet than a snippet now. I still may incorporate it into a larger fic at some point in the future, but for now, I present the evidence of the day I caved to the Charlotte/Chris pressure :)

Notes: A story in the 'Echoes the Sea' AU series, Chris Larabee/OFC. This is a bit of an interlude between 'Too Young for Heaven' and strangevisitor7's story, 'Each Must Know His Part'.
Characters: Ezra Standish, Charlotte Sparrow.
Summary: Even if it means a shotgun wedding, Ezra is determined that Chris do right by Charlotte. But the truth of the situation can often be the opposite of what you believe.

( Ezra reached over, pulling on the reins of Charlotte's horse, bringing both of their mounts to a halt. )
