Found It!

Over the last weeks, I keep hearing this song on the radio, and of course, they never tell you who sings songs these days after it ends. So finally, after forgetting to do a search fr the lyrics, I have finally remembered, and discovered it's 'What About Now' by Daughtry. My curiosity is assuaged!

In other news, still haven't seen Star Trek. Hoping to go Thursday. Still can't stand vampire emo boy on AI (Adam to the rest of you), and my kitties make my RL worth dealing with on days like today.

A Year Of Tony Stark

amonitrate reminded me that it's been a year. A year since Tony Stark sauntered into my brain and took over. May 8, I saw the movie, by May 9 I was reading fic (and yes, Nin is still laughing!), and by May 15, I'd written and posted my first IM story, Of Ninjas & High Heels.

Hard to believe it's been a year.

Next Week

Looks like we won't be seeing Star Trek till next week now. We leave Friday for Escalante and have too much to do tomorrow night getting ready. We're really looking forward to the trip. Rustic cabin with firepit, dinner at Hell's Backbone courtesy of my brother, and general hiking and sightseeing for three days. On Sunday, we're going to take the long way home and hit all the little towns to the north, including Loa, which has a cheese factory!

Mum's sleeping over at the inn tonight, and Nin's gone to bed, so I'm at a loose end. Not sure I'm feeling like writing, but I'll give it a try.
