'Comfort' (01/01)

This story takes place at the end of strangevisitor7's The Tale Is in the Telling, right after Chris leaves the saloon all grumpy. You don’t have to read it for this to make sense, but you should, since it’s an awesome story! When I was reading the first draft of ‘Telling’ I made the offhand comment to Casey that I bet Chris was headed to Charlotte’s for a little comfort and understanding. Well, the road to hell is paved with offhand remarks, and I should know better! Of course, I had to write it.
