For two weeks I've been knee deep in the things: picking, prepping, canning them in a variety of ways, getting covered in ants! But tonight, mum made a dessert of apricots poached in muscat served over vanilla ice cream. Now, I'm not a huge dessert person, but this was to die for! And the accompaniment of a lovely Muscato d' Asti didn't hurt either! YUM!

The bad: Nin came home sick with some sort of stomach bug. Poor baby. My brother went out and got her gingerale and saltines.

“Tarnation, wish you wouldn’t always be sneaking up on a man!” he protested, startled at the tracker’s unexpected appearance at his side.
( Vin just chuckled, looking across the street to see what it was that had Nathan’s undivided attention. It appeared that the object of his scrutiny was a woman he’d never seen before in front of the hotel with Ezra )
