This Is Probably Pat's Fault

So if you didn't know, Peter Wingfield has a blog now, but since I'm a bad fan, I don't really keep up with it. But I don't need to since I have the charming and informative pat_t to point out the highlights - like this post.

Anyway, I'm sure Pat pointing out the circumstances of his last post was responsible for the dream I had last night. I was at a gathering/party at, I'm pretty sure, Jen's house. A lot of Methos fen from LJ were there, including Pat. We're all having a good time. Then Peter shows up. And Peter wants to cook! He decides he's going to make split pea soup (no idea). He proceeds to make his soup, but makes a hell of a mess, getting soup all over everything, including himself. Next I know, he's asking me to see to getting him a change of clothes. I'm thinking, dude, not my problem! But I'm polite and go find Jen to see if we can find something, thinking that if we were at Pat's house, a change of clothes wouldn't be a problem. We do find something for him to wear, and the dream went on for a bit, but I don't remember the details. Maybe I pointed him to the washing machine? [g]

When Fandoms Collide

Remember Peter mentioning a movie he was doing called 'Stonehenge Apocalypse' a while back? Well thanks to havocthecat I've discovered Misha Collins is in it as well. How cool it that? Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be one of those dreadful SciFi channel movies, but hey, Peter and Misha in the same really bad movie! And it explains the odd Stonehenge pics Misha was tweeting in the summer -- well, as much as anything explains the oddness that is Misha in general [g]

It's what's for dinner. Yum! It's currently in the fridge setting, but should be ready to pop in the oven soon.

New default icon! We finally finished watching Merlin, and there was a scene in one of the later eps where Morgana and Uther's cloaks entwine together in the wind, and I just loved it visually. So I attempted to make an icon form the scene. I'm relatively pleased at how it came out.

Speaking of Merlin, Morgana is still by far my favourite character. So far, Merlin and Arthur just haven't grabbed me. But we shall see what next next series brings. Looking forward to it. Anyway, even though I'm not looking to read fic for the show, I was thinking that if I was, I'd be looking for Morgana/Uther or Morgana/Gwen. And then I thought that there probably isn't any Morgana/Uther out there, so I have no need to worry about getting sucked in. BZZZT! Guess what I saw recced on crackvan last week? Uh huh. No, I haven't read it yet. Do not want to be pulled in! We'll see how long I manage to resist [g] Reading fic is the first step on the path to hell. The next is seeking out comms. I will be strong!

I really had intended on writing this weekend, but kept getting distracted. And lots of TV on tonight, so unless I start writing late, I probably won't get to it. I swear I'll finish West if it KILLS ME! It seems to be my bane and it mocks me. Bad fic, no bickie!
