I Think I'm Finally Wrtiing It

There's an M7 comm doing a challenge of 'firsts' and it reminded me I have been wanting to write the story of Maude's first death. Which I appear to be writing. Not sure if it'll get past the snippet to be filed away for later stage or not, but it's a start.

Two Hours Later: 1000 words! Wasn't expecting that it. Maybe this will see the light of day after all.

Took the two left over roasted chicken carcasses and made broth which is now being turned into chicken and dumplings. Yum!

Grey's Anatomy season premiere tonight! WoooT! Have to wait till ninjababe comes home at 10:30 to watch, but still!

Finally reconstituted my iTunes playlists after hours of work. Waited for the update that was supposed to fix what they broke with the update, but it didn't fix squat. Grrr!

A week today till otterevil arrives!

Have finished the Maude story and will post at some point.

Autumn here is beautiful! The weather rocks. We've gone several days without the A/C, or just for a few hours in the afternoons.

Finally, I've written the story of Maude's First Death that I've been wanting to write for quite some time now. I find her a fascinating character to write, and every so often, give in the urge to explore her a little bit more. This also gave me a chance to explain, maybe just a little, why Charlotte gives Maude so many second chances over the course of their relationship. Hope you enjoy it.

Characters: Maude Standish, Charlotte Sparrow
