I've got 2000+ more words of 'West' written - it comes in starts and stops. So maybe a new part is on the horizon :)
Poor Lewis, our newest stray, had to have surgery today. We were supposed to keep him in the carrier, but he was throwing himself against the walls over and over and I was afraid he'd hurt himself, so he's now out in my room just wandering around. I have yet to have a cat who actually is sleepy after surgery like they always tell us they will be. He went in to be fixed last week and they discovered a problem, so he had surgery today to correct it. He's looking for food now, but they told us he couldn't have any food or water till tomorrow :(
