Good Stuff
Sep. 11th, 2011 12:18 pmFinally got to see the deleted scenes from Thor before they were pulled by the studio. Awesome bits in the 11 included. Can't wait till Tuesday to have the DVD in my hand (Am I the only one who still uses 'DVD' even if it's the BluRay? DVD is shorter, and it looks like a DVD, so....) We watched IM I & II on Saturday, to get us in the mood, so to speak [g] And I still am feeling jazzed about the Loki story I want to write, so hopefully the desire will last till I have time to write.
If I watch any team sporting event, it's college footfall, though it's been a while since I watched a game. But the Utah Utes are now in the Pac-12 - what used to be the Pac-10 - and the opening game was yesterday against USC. It was a really good game, even if Utah lost. But they made the Trojans work for the win, that's for sure.
We had bruschetta on the grill again last night. Must be my most favourite thing to cook outside, even over pizza. And cutting up the tomatoes from the garden that are still warm from the sun, along with herbs from the garden just smells so good! And the weather was awesome. It's finally starting to cool down, and only hit about 96 yesterday, so I didn't bake when I was outside at the bbq. One day - outdoor kitchen! I'd probably never cook inside again [g]
