SF Con Going Poll

Just wondering how many of you attend Science Fiction Conventions. Not media cons, but traditional cons like WesterCon, SiliCon, Norwescon, or PhilCon, with authours, artists, masquerades and filking.

I probably spend the majority of my fandom dollar on such events, so I was curious :)

You have some very fine SF and fantasy cons down your way.

My husband and I go to Orycon in Portland every year.
Kim Stanley Robinson, one of my all time favorite writers, will be at Norwestcon at SeaTac (airport area between Seattle and Tacoma) April 5-8. I would love to hear him talk about writing. Mr. Biologistman can't get away for this one. Anyone else thinking of going?

I haven't been to Norwescon in years, (it was my first ever big con back when I was much much younger), but I had hoped to make it to this year's seeing as Luis Royo is the AGOH. But alas, it wasn't meant to be.

We have a fantastic con in Dallas. Of course, I may be a little biased since I'm buddies with the event coordinator, but I've gotten the chance to meet some amazing people when I get the chance to attend.

I had to answer both "Yes", and "No, but I'd like to" because I have attended them in the past (and even helped organize events) and I will certainly be attending in the future, however the last few years I have simply not had the money.
