There wasn't a lot of Dan in this one, but what there was was lovely. He really does seem to have the best lines!

So don't boys go to medical school anymore? All the medical students were female, which seemed odd. And will we be seeing them again? Or will it be like House where the occasional medical student appears a few times a season? Hair ball girl should consider a less stressful occupation, me thinks.

Is Donna really leaving? Don't much care one way or the other, but am curious.

Joseph was so mellow! No baby bird tick.

Sam is sweet, but stupid. He has good intentions, but he doesn't seem to think things through.

What the hell was up with the rabbit, and how on earth did it make it onto a window ledge?!

Still don't like Mark. I'm surprised Connie didn't chew him out for that last bit of cheek to her.

I really want to know more about the history between Maddie and Clifford.

Just make Nikki go away!



Side note: On the BBC Holby site, on the cast page, Peter is listed fourth, only after 'Connie', 'Elliot', and 'Ric'. Doesn't seem to be alphabetical either by actor name or character name, so I found that interesting.

I really don't care if Donna stays or goes. I'll tell you someone else that irks me and that's Dean. What the hell is his role there anyway? ALl he seems to do is run around in his wheelchair and easedrop on other people's conversations and get into everyone's business.

I adore Dan (of course) and I would really like to see them give Maddie something to do. A good story line with her and dan would be great.

And Mark - someone needs to slap him. I really could not work with him. At all!

I've been wondering about Dean too. I thought he was a student doctor/resident whatever they're called in the UK like Matt was. But I don't think I've ever seen him treat a patient.

I just got to watch the last two weeks episodes. Downloading this weeks as I type. I am really liking this show. Dan and Connie are going to be great together. Agree with Ith, Maddie needs more meat in her storyline.

Like Elliott, Maria, Matt and Sam, although he is an idiot for letting Chrissy get away all because of some stupid girl playing games. He needs a clue.

And what is up with Jaq, Fay and what's his name?

Finally, I'll bite. What is wrong with Mark? I think he is okay - heart is in the right place anyway.

Mark is unprofessional and a bully, IMHO of course. I can't believe he keeps his job, let alone got a promotion!

Oh, just I don't see it. He was good with Sister Tysons son, and does seem to care about people. Jaq is a bully. Connie and Dan, too. But I love them, especially together.

I'm personally not that fond of Mark but when I first started watching I could cut him some slack. His wife had just been killed in a car accident, where he was driving so he was messed up. The problem I'm having is that his character isn't improving, he's just staying an asshole mostly.

Sam obviously isn't the sharpest cookie in the box but he's sweet and he trys hard to help people so I don't mind him.

That was me as well. With his wife being sick, and then being killed, I wasn't sure how much of his unpleasantness was that and how much his own normal self. Seems I cut him too much slack! [g]

According to the Holby web site (http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/holbycity/storyupdates/holbycitycu1.shtml) this is what's coming up:

Donna seeks help from a dubious financial advisor.
Kyla has a punch up with Harvey.
Martha defers her uni course for another year.
Elliot confides in Mark his concerns for Martha.
The men show a bit of leg at a charity football match.
And Donna surprises everyone at her leaving party.

I really hoping that our Peter gets his legs out for the charity match but it doesn't really seem Dan's style.

So it looks like Donna is planning to leave anywhere, who knows what will actually happen.

I loved Joseph in this episode. It made me smile to see him look together and in control and not being manipulated by anyone (can you tell I really don't like Jaq?)

I wish Joseph would get a clue and see what a piece of work Jaq is. And despite the age difference, I think him and Martha are kind of cute together!

I saw a preview clip of next week's, and Dan calling Jaq a 'bit of a cold fish'! Priceless! and him in the cutest jumper/sweater :)

Yeah I watched the clip last night. Marhta and Joseph are sweet together yes.

Dan did look totaly snoggable in that sweater, but then lets be honest he could be stood there in a hessian sack and I'd still think that of him. :)

LOL I can see it now. A pic of Peter surfaces in which he's only wearing a sack and we all spend days analyzing just how gorgeous his arms/shoulders/colar bones/legs etc are.

Then of course the hessian sack is quite small (only brushes the tops of his thighs really) so we have 20 zoomed in pics posted so we can all see just what he's wearing/not wearing under his hessian.

Oh god I think I've just put Peter in a mini skirt in my head. *laugh*
