Nin came home and was looking for Glenn, and I said, "He's watching Magnificent Seven with Charlotte." and she gave me a look, and then it hit me and I cracked up.
Yes, we have an African Gray named Charlotte, and no, if I'd been actually thinking about, or had any idea that I'd write more than one story with Charlotte, I would have never named her (the character) that. (Oh, and I'm hoping that if Charlotte sees enough M7, she'll talk like Ezra.)
And sorta related, Nin just DLed 'Poker Face' by Lady Gaga. One, I'll never get it out of my head now, and two, I still think it's a great Ezra song. I see him in my mind's eye now when I hear the song -- which, if you think about it, is a good thing. The video is rather scary!
