ithildin: (Iron Man - Fly)
So now I've written one story in a different tense, the next one keeps drifting into it as well. I now have a half and half story [sigh] Will have to go back and fix it after, just not sure which tense will win LOL

Yeah, I do that all the time....write a story in one tense, and then halfway through, it switches. *eyerolls* Thank God for betas, I tells ya.

The past, the present, and the future all walk into the same bar at the same time.
It was tense.

I've never had it happen before. Very annoying.

I used to write everything in past tense, then I tried switching to present tense...and then the trouble started. *shrugs* Such are the joys of trying something different, I guess.

Now I try to review what I've just written, every few paragraphs, instead of ploughing ahead full-tilt like I used to. That way I don't have PAGES AND PAGES of verb tenses to correct - ugh.
