ithildin | 'Timeless' Icons: Part II

So Nin works all weekend, and yet again, I needed to do something distracting. The result is yet more 'Timeless' icons (and still with caps left to iconize!).

Since everyone really seemed to like the black & white one from last time, I decided to do what I'm going to call my 'Vintage Set'.

I use PaintShop Pro XI. I desaturated the cap, duplicated it a few times and did screen, screen, soft light, then merged the image, put it on top of a grunge texture and used a variety of erase brush smudges and some burned paper like textures on top. That's about as technical as I get, I'm afraid [g]

These are really good. I think both of the Joe ones are especially cool.

If I had the icon space, I'd be going crazy here. Love them all.

Richie isn't in 'Timeless', and all these are from that episode. Actually, I don't think I've ever made a Richie icon. But, I make the Duncan ones for the Duncan fans on my f'list, so no reason I can't make you a Richie one when I cap an ep with him in it [g]

These are fantastic, but my favorites are number 3 and number 19.

I'm of the 'throw things at the icon till it's pretty' school, so I rarely recall how I make an icon [g] I use lots and lot of textures and floodfill layers.
