Marion would have been killed by the Nazis in her bar if Indy hadn't shown up!

Random TV show comment is random.

Okay, I agree with you there.

Yes! That was my reaction. After quite a bit of thinking.

...although I actually ended up in a fairly complex debate over whether Sheldon and/or Amy would regard that as notable because they possibly don't get attached to characters (which I don't agree with) or whether it's a question of traditional story structure which they are attached to because it's how they parse the world...but I take TBBT way, way too seriously. WAY.

Sheldon possibly not get attached to characters?

The man who counts Wil Wheaton as an enemy because of his failing to meet Sheldon's expectations based in his love of Wesley Crusher?

The man who gets punished in his dreams by Spock for making him angry?

Someone doesn't have a very firm grasp on Sheldon as a character.

Thank you! And I may steal your arguments. It always surprises me that some people just...watch this show for, like, the jokes or something, and take it at face value without ripping it apart for characterization nuance.

Thank you!

You're welcome!

And I may steal your arguments.

Feel free to help yourself!

Oooh, you can't entirely blame some people for not having a clear view of the characters. I mean the writers themselves have said Sheldon isn't at all autistic, and at the very least that's debatable, if not flat out wrong. What some writers, like some fans, miss is how true the words, "the Devil is in the details," are.
