Rhubarb pie and Pinot Noir don't mix very well. In case you ever wondered. Spent most of the evening emailing with robi_travels about her upcoming trip here -- we're going to drag her to the ultimate boonies, and maybe see a few ghosts. We're going to have a great time! And I've been watching Enterprise.

Gah! My allergies are killing me. I sneezed so much last night, I pulled a muscle in my shoulder. I think I'll take an extra Benadryl tonight.

There must be extra chlorine in the water tonight because my hands smell like they've been in a swimming pool.

Army Wives is back in two weeks! Yay!

*ickface* Ew. Um, no. Maybe a Riesling instead? I mean, I love a good red wine, but not with rhubarb pie.

It was accidental. Had eaten and finished pie, then got wine, but still had too much pie taste in my mouth :)

what would go well with rhubarb pie?

I mean, I guess since it is so tangy, it would definitely clash with a pinot noir, so... something dry, like a very full-bodied chardonnay? Or the other route, with a sweet and slightly fizzing dessert wine? Hmmmm.

I want a pie now :P
