Norrington continues to be adorable. He likes to wake you up in the morning by kissing your face. He and Sparrow are still not buddies, but I think Sparrow is warming up to him a wee bit.

I have collected some new folks on my f'list over the last few week's, so thought I'd mention that I'm Ithildyn over on Twitter too. [waves to new people]

This has been one of the coldest Augusts I can recall. 65 is the highest it's supposed to get over the next ten days.

Dinner tonight is going to be a new recipe. It's chicken, new potatoes, and tomatoes w/oregano baked together. ninjababe hit pay dirt shopping yesterday -- packs of chicken thighs were buy one get one free, so we should get 5-6 meals out of the packages. Later in the week, I'm going to try another new recipe, this one from Spain that is a potato & egg tortilla.

This week's discussion topic over at ironman_lounge is 'What do you want to see in the sequel?"

We're slowly piecing the PC back together again. We had to bring it back yesterday, but it seems to be working now. Nin downloaded a bunch of stuff last night, and hopefully, I'll get the data from the old HD soon so I can restore stuff. What a pain!

I think the muse is creeping back, so I'm hoping I might get some work done on 'I Am Going To the West' soon. Though I may be writing all the historical flashbacks first and do the modern day stuff last. I've never written a story that way, but the present day story is all messed up in my head since Tony took over the series. I'm not sure that how I perceived Charlotte and Methos and their relationship is quite the same as when I started writing it. Not sure that makes any sense, but there you go. I'll just blame it all on Mr. Stark [g]

Where are you that your August is 65 degrees?! I'm in the southeast US, and it's been in the 90s! Too bad there isn't a way to blend the two temperature together! I quite like the upper 70s! *grin*

Best of luck with the computer rebuilding! It's a chore, for sure. And I hope the muse is finished with his/her hiatus! *wink* I'd like to see more Charlotte & Tony & Methos!

I keep telling my hubby and my friends that I was made for California's temperate weather. Once it gets past the mid 70's, I'm toast....unless we're somewhere tropical in the wintertime. ! But then we're near an ocean and not so midland.

You could come here. There's no fog and it's been muggy and in the 80s all week. If we're lucky, we'll get rain tonight and I won't have to water things when I get home tonight.

I'm not counting on that.

It's 9:21 pm and still 86 degrees here. And, NO AC!!

..sigh....am 'yearning for more Methos'' (... pisht...dare I say it....HEY EVIL METHOS... maybe Mr. Fancy Iron pants needs to be stiffled for a bit!....nonononono...I take that back...shudders....don't think I could handle 'his evilness' at the moment.....but....hint hint...more Sweet/Kind/Sexy Methos....please......*stares with huge kittie eyes*!!).
