Bizarre!

That huge storm has finally hit, and the rain is just pouring down! And there's lightening! I can't ever remember lightening with a winter storm.

In other news, I've finished another story part and have written 2000+ words today.

And 'Charitable Impulses' was recced in the Holiday Recathon! Blew me away considering I wrote it to shut Tony and Ezra up. Now they're all smug.

If you think this storm is fun, wait until you move and get thundersnow. It's rare but if you get snow, sooner or later, you'll get thundersnow.

"Charitable Impulses" totally deserves to be recc'd, but just wait until all the praise for it comes pouring in, and they start bragging ("Yes, it was a good thing I was in that fic, I feel I brought a touch of class." "What do you mean, tough of class? Clearly, the fic was a hit with the ladies because of my charisma" and the whole thing degenerates into a school-yard fight and Charlotte throws them out of the house)

interesting, I think I can remember seeing lightning with snow but it's been a while. In the summer we get some pretty nice lightning though, I'm on the lake so often times we'll get it just over the water but it never touches land.

it's really cool...if you like storms/lightning. I've stood outside during storms to see the lightning over the water. What's interesting is how different it can be in the front of the houses versus the back (which faces the lake) Because the houses and such tend to block a lot of the strong winds and craziness when it is just over the lake but close to shore it can be much stronger when you go to the back, mainly stronger winds since there is nothing to shield them.
