Happy Solstice. And guess whose birthday it is?

We celebrated Solstice with another 5.5 inches of snow and the snowblower dying. (Actually only the cable broke that actuates the pulleys that drive the blades, but it has the same effect. It should be happy tomorrow after I pick up the parts and install them.)

So we've had 15.7 inches of snow since Thursday and the county to the west of us is under a Blizzard Warning. But its only "Lake Effect" snow!!!

The NWS published a correction for yesterday. We got 12.6 inches of snow after Saturday midnight. That puts us at a bit over 2 feet of snow on the ground (deeper where it has drifted).

Snowblower is fixed and working today. We are happy.
