There's an empty lot behind my part of the house that the peopel who live across the opposite street from it own. They use it for storage and extra parking for their trucks. Well, today, they started burning brush and tumbleweeds, and since my French door was open, all the smoke was blowing into my room before I realized they were burning. Room smells like a campfire! Hoping they finish soon so I can open the doors again to air it out.

Having bruschetta tonight. Yum! Already made the tomato mixture, just need to put it together when Nin gets home. Going to make spanakopita tomorrow.

oh nice, I know how that does though, burning brush is legal here also (well assuming your neighbor's were doing it legally haha) and we have a couple neighbor's that burn leaves that way. The farmers also use it in their fields. It's a pleasant smell but annoying when the smoke is all drifting over to use.
