Norrington somehow cut the top right part of his tail last night. I kept getting up through the night to check on him and the bleeding stopped. Cut to this afternoon, and it started up again. So Nin's taken him to the vet. They were booked, but managed to squeeze him in. Poor little guy - he hates me currently since I had to poke around the wound last night and made him cry :(

Later: Turns out he had a bite abscess and it ruptured last night. Probably from Islay playing rough with him. They cleaned it out, gave him a shot for pain and antibiotics and he was pitiful. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon.

aw poor baby, I don't know if you recall the entry but a while back my dog cut his paw, however until he came to with a club foot of bandages, he was still very happy. He was so excited to see the vet and jump on him (with the cut paw haha and give the vet techs kisses while they were prepping him for his stitches

Poor furball. I'm sure he will be. The way they use their tails, that's a nasty spot. It's a good thing it wasn't the neck or somewhere else though.
