Thanks to jinxed_wood providing breeding plot bunnies here, I now have the overwhelming urge to write a House/Highlander xover that's House/Amanda. Why? Because, just because! I mean, it's so nuts, it could work. And it's bumped me off the whole Methos on Pern thing otterevil is demanding. Which is a good thing [beams at ET]

zomg. House and AMANDA?! That's mad brilliance. I was thinking maybe an OC doctor who he can be pissed off at because, dude always with the healing and no they won't let him shoot them just to watch it heal or, maybe, Greg Powers or Grace Chandal but AMANDA?

I love it!

She'd totally out!House House! Showing up, availing herself of his apartment (and clothes), wandering about in his t-shirts, eating his food, showing up to flirt at the hospital and complain about a teeny ache in her thigh...

If you don't do this, I shall officially disown you :-p

I honestly don't know if my writing is up the challenge. I've written House once, and it was a small scene in my HL/Grey's crossover, and he was very hard to get right.
