Happy Independence Day to my American f'listees. This is one of my favourite holidays, even though the only fireworks I see these days are on the TV :) Nin and I plan to watch John Adams, and I''m going to bbq burgers and corn and stuff. Plus Nin's nifty white wine sangria!
And since we never have enough going on, guess who is feeding a baby bird? Yep. Glenn found it last night. Lots of birds nest under our roof tiles, and there are always a fair amount of dead babies through nesting season, but this one was still alive. Eyes are still closed, and feathers just starting. I don't know what his chances are (probably not good) but we're going to try.
