Cicadas are loud, and they sound like a powerpole transformer buzzing, which is annoying. Did some research, and apparently the variety that's in Utah are some of the loudest.

I think we're nativised now. Instead of going to WalMart after work, to avoid the heat, we actually got up earlier and went before work. Keep your fingers crossed, it's supposed to drop under 100 later this week.

Hasn't White Collar been awesome!?!?! I just adore it. Though there needs to be more Elizabeth. I thought I'd heard the actress was pregnant, so maybe that's why she hasn't been around as much as last season. We have the S1 DVDs, just haven't had time to watch them.

I feel like writing, but just not sure what. Something new? WIP? Feel free to place your requests :)

I actually carried on watching White Collar - through to the end of S1 on UK telly. And, it's enjoyable. Bomer is gorgeous (that scene where he's crafting the italian sculpture and he's more a work of art than the stonework - yum ;-) It's easy viewing, but the ratchetting up of the bromance at the end of S1 and in the first episode of S2 (which I have to thank you for) has really surprised me. And not in a terribly good way - this despite my slash-slanting heart.

The way Peter sits at lunch with El and talks about Neal leaving him? I actually think that too much of a spotlight on the subtext over eggs it and makes it less potent and less plausible. I'd find the slashy angle far more plausible, actually, if all direct references - and oh those pauses in dialogue - to Peter and Neal's friendship had been left unwritten, and we'd just had the conversations with Mossie and El about Peter's anxiety in terms of Neal's mental state.

And this before I watch episode two.

As for writing there isn't enough series ot3 fic in this fandom. Really there isn't *g*

I'm usually oblivious to slashy subtext, so it sort of flies over my head [g]

You know, it's been years since I've ever written anything remotely OT3ish - not since my FK/Highlander days. I'm not sure I could pull it off. Partly because I don't read fic in the fandom, and because most of the stories I come across seem to be NC17, and I know I can't write that anymore.
