I am obsessed with the satellite images at weather.com! We've been under flash flood and severe thunderstorm warnings for weeks (normal this time of year) so I find myself checking the images every half hour or so to see which way the cells are moving.

This is here half an hour ago. We're in La Verkin, and looks like the cell is moving uppish. We'll see!

Weather is a form of small talk where I grew up. ;-) After nearly a year, I still haven't figured out the weather pattern here in central Texas. It's making me crazy!

I do the same thing! The local weather has an interactive radar map thingy that lets you click on each storm cell. It tells you where it's going and what kind of weather to expect from it. Very addictive!

I love checking out the Doppler maps. Always interesting weather in the Rockies.

And here we're checking fire's maps regularly... Though you can actually assess the situation by the fact if you can see the Sun or only the red disk:).
