You know, I wish I still had my ramblings about these shows when we talked about them on Highlandgirl. Ah well.

One thing about this is that I didn't particularly like this first Amanda. She was rather selfish and put Duncan's life at unnecessary risk - both in the flashback and the present. I'm glad she came back and her character was able to grow and mature.

One other thing we talked about was the fight and quickening. After Duncan beat Blaine in the fight - then Amanda sneaks up behind him and takes his head. Which to me was not in character for Duncan to tolerate. It's a good ep, but once again - I'm glad Amdana's character changed in later episodes from this spiteful, selfish woman.
