Who Are Your 'Hotties'?

Talking with pat_t this morning, in the course of a comment lovefest of Methos (yes, huge surprise) that Adrian Paul just isn't my cup of tea. And that I'm sure I have 'crushes' that aren't widely shared [g] So, who are you're own personal 'hotties'? I'm going to split this up between real people, and characters. Sometimes, I'll love a character, but the actor in RL not so much. For example: Aragorn in the LotR movies:[THUD] But not Viggo (though I'm sure he's a very nice man and all). His voice is different, his colouring, so it's Aragorn all the way for me.

I soooooo agree on Aragorn but not Viggo.

And to the character but not actor list I'll also say Wesley Wyndam-Pryce but not Alexis Denisof. Alexis is hot but his real-life voice is just odd, and he's just sort of pretty to look at but not really in an interesting way. He needs the British accent (not to mention the ANGST) to make him more than just superficially attractive.

Johnny Depp, though? There's NOTHING you can do to that man to make him unattractive. Nothing EVER.

I think I like Methos but don't care one way or another for Peter Wingfield. Though the only other thing I've seen him in was an ep of Smallville and I barely remember it, so the jury's out.

Hmm. As for my real list... it's like a mile long, lol. I have so many fictional and actor-crushes.

Well, I've had the pleasure of meeting Peter in person (and I'm sure Pat can add to this) several times, so I'm biased I suppose. But in person he has a definite 'presence'. Very charming, funny, genuinely seems like a kind man. The physical aspect aside, he's very attractive just as a person. Add the physical aspect, and yowza! [g]

See, that probably makes all the difference. I can only judge by the one character. But presence does make all the difference. :)
