We got the Bluray player yesterday and while I bought it becuase it was cheap and I had a gift card to use, a nice bonus was that it had a USB in. I figured I could let my mum use my current DVD player so I could just put shows on the flash drive for her to watch if this new player had one as well. No dice. All it 'plays' are photos! What bloody use is that? So now I'll have to keep both players in here. Now I know when I'm ready to buy a decent Bluray player that just because it says USB doesn't mean it's good for anything! Oh, and Dejla, it does not do PAL, though there are hacks out there, but I think I'll just wait till I upgrade.

ARGH!!!!!!!!! is right......
I hate it when that happens........
Did it advertise what you had hoped for when you bought it?
If it did, then take it back.
I take things back and never ask if they are willing. Just
present the receipt, even if I have to wait for my cc statement...

Honestly, I bought it because it was cheap, being refurbished, so as long as it plays the discs, I'm good. Good for me to know that USB doesn't always mean 'plays media files' for when I actually put up the money for a better quality player.
