This is one of my favourite bits of Christmas TV. We always watched Bing's Christmas show, and I had no idea who David Bowie was when I saw this back in '77, but I loved it.

They don't make TV like they used to.

I too love this song. While I'm not a big David Bowie music fan, I love his voice. It's so warm and deep and evocative....anyway, it made me remember this article I read a year or so ago.

"David Bowie and Bing Crosby sing a Christmas duet" almost sounds like the basis of an SNL skit. But surprisingly, it works.

This was Bing's final recorded performance, filmed in September of 77.

This is my favorite. I watched it back then wtih my Grandma. I had to explain who David Bowie was. The beginning dialog was lame but when they started singing - heaven. This song is one of my all time favorites.
