We were on our way to meet up with Casey in Phoenix and we broke down 50 miles outside Vegas. Now in a casino after ng towed in, waiting to hear from mechanic.
YIKES, that reminds me of when mom and I were doing the Oregon Trail and we were in Wyoming and developed car trouble. I had a Cutlass at the time and it turned into a three day stay in Rock Springs Wyoming.....with carburetor problems. I sometimes wonder if it might have been because of high altitude of some of the driving and perhaps my car was not calibrated enough for it........ BUT in spite of it we discovered Ted's Supper Club which was a roadhouse with lovely steaks and dancing in the other room. Our stay in Rock Springs was truly unique.
