Signs of Spring

The apricot trees and the plum tree are in bloom and there's so many bees, that walking outside seems like you're standing in the middle of a beehive! All the roses have new leaves, and the aspen and maple are covered in what will be leaves very soon. The frogs and lizards should come out of hibernation soon, and the rest of the fruit trees should be in bloom within the week.

The daffs are looking good,here, should bloom in another week or so. I just went thru my seeds and picked up more at Home Depot. I'm determined to do a better job on the veggie garden this year.

We have some crocuses out, and hopefully will have daffs, tulips, and iris soon.

That's Glenn's goal this year as well. He has a bunch of seedling veg growing in trays in the bathroom and wants to get to the nursery earlier this year. We're going to try for a real garden instead of little beds all over the place this year.

Feeling jealous. :o( We got 8 inches of snow dumped on us on Monday -- and they are calling for more. I want Spring to be HERE right now! {sigh}
