According to this BBC America has acquired the rights air Battlestar Galactica. Makes about as much sense as them airing STTNG. Why they don't air more actual shows from the UK that we don't see here, is beyond me. Like say, I don't know, Holby City?? Maybe they need to change the name of the station to BBC America Some of the Time.

Batman! They're running effing BATMAN! The 1989 version. I'd say they were using Michael Gough as an excuse, except for the part where he didn't appear once in the promo.

I expect their excuse for BSG is primarily Jamie Bamber (since I think L&O UK did pretty well for them recently) and secondarily James Callis. But still, at this rate, they'll need to change their name to "What The Sci-Fi Channel Was Before There Was Wrestling And Then A Stupid Rebranding."
