More remote AZ

Most of the 6 hour drive home for us is through the Navajo reservation, as we need to come in behind the Grand Canyon, so here's a view from the road.  Lots of empty spaces with a few gas stations with Navajo art shops. One of which we had an animated conversation with two teenage Navajo girls about Nin's pretty pink princess nails, prom,  and the weather in Phoenix.

Beautiful. I've only been to that area of the country once, and it was so different than what I was used to. It was like being on another planet.

The cloudy and the rainy we've had recently are very, very weird for Arizona in May, which is usually a bone-dry month.
