Just Great

The dishwasher finally died. It's been on its last legs for a while, but wish it could have held on a bit longer. Guess handwashing dishes is in my future since affording a new one isn't in the cards right now [bleah] Have I mentioned that a dishwasher is one of my favourite modern appliances?

We think this one was original to the house, so around 12 years old. I'm gonna miss it.

I agree, they're one of the best modern tools...it's been so long since I checked the price of them that I don't know if they are in the 200 or 400 dollar category now-a-days...goes to peek... 175-585 is the google range. The economy sure does suck...Hope it works out soon for you, and all of us.

Funny now that even the bargain ones do what only the expensive ones did ten years ago. I hope so to. Mum and Glenn are still jobless, so keeping fingers crossed.

*nods* When I was growing up we had 2 dishwashers. They even had names. One was Judy and one was Patty.

I love my automatic dishwasher.
