Two polls for you. It takes a lot of time posting fic announcements to various communities, and I'm wondering if it's worth it. Usually, it's a few days after I post new fic to my LJ before I have a chance to do the comm posts, and I've noticed that almost 100% of the time, I don't receive a single comment after the comm posts. Now, people could be coming over and reading and not commenting, but if there's really no traffic from those posts, I could use the time doing something else - like writing. I'm going to include a link to this poll the next time I post fic, just in case there are mystery people out there! Thanks for participating! (and reading, of course)

I think I found you on a comm, and had I not friended you, I would have continued to receive notifications on your posts via comms. That's how I find posts in other fandoms where I don't know any of the posters personally.

I think it would be great if Mag7 fandom had a newsletter type comm, though I don't know whether it's big enough for it to be worth it. When it comes to posting to multiple comms, I see that a lot of people use various LJ clients instead of copying/pasting. It takes less time.

All the comms have different requirements for what info you have to include in your post, so I'm not sure how to do anything but copy and paste.

There would probably be enough new stuff for a monthly newsletter, I'd think.
