Nin and I went to my assistant's wedding today. Wedding, then reception, started at 1pm, was over at 2:15. Short and sweet. Took me longer to get ready LOL!
It was weird - I've never been to a wedding where the majority of the people wore jeans and t shirts. Maybe it's a Utah thing. It was a civil ceremony, but the bride and groom were dressed formally - white dress, veil, him in a tux. Nin and I dressed like we would for a wedding in California.
Are you serious? LOL! I just went to a wedding this past weekend and the ceremony was at 4pm with reception immediately after. The ceremony itself was maybe 30 minutes? But we didn't get home until midnight, heh. All told it was a 4-11:30 wedding, seven and a half hours, included ceremony, speeches/etc., dinner, cake, drinking, and dancing. Good times.
Really for both or just the wedding ceremony? If both, was hte reception at MacDonald's? Can servers even get food out on a table that fast for wedding guest?
