I've noticed quite a few people have friended me over the last few months, but I have no idea who you are or why you're here. I don't know you from comments or mutual friends, for the most part. In some cases, we aren't even on the same communities. ninjababe's theory is that you may have found me via AO3, which is as good an explanation as any :) So anyway, don't be shy! Drop me a comment, tell me a bit about yourself, and assuage my curiosity!

I think we've been on each other's flists for quite a long time. I wish LJ gave you a way to check on dates on stuff like that! I know they have the notes thing, but that doesn't help for people you met before that function existed.
