Please explain

I thought tumblr was a place people posted images? I just followed a link to fic and it was posted to a tumblr account. I'm confused now.

From what I gather, it can be used however you want, though it's mostly images.

I'm using it to collect all the pretty pictures of Loki, Thor and the rest of the Avengers! :)

You can do both. Usually I find images there, but I have seen some fic there too.

From own experience of it, I'd say it might be a fun place to post drabbles but a nightmare for longer fic!
