Before I get distracted, that post.

This week's ep,
This one was like the one with the hotel room, Danno, Lori, and the handcuffs. The whole running up the hill thing. The only thing I could think of after the fact was the actress really did hurt her ankle, and they added that bit after to explain her office-boundedness. Otherwise, it seemed stupid to contrive something that sidelines her for the episode. Which leads me to.... who calls an ambulance for a hurt ankle?!?! Seriously? Steve couldn't put her in the backseat with her leg up for the drive to the doctor? A wee bit of overkill there. And he'd called the paramedics before he got the call where he left, so makes no sense.

Yes, those are my issues LOL

I feel better now I've vented.

I agree. The scene was completely unnecessary. Someone else mentioned that the actress might of hurt her ankle, but if that's the case how did she do the scene where she is running up the stairs? It makes no sense.

But it was really a very good episode otherwise I thought. Scot did an excellent job.

Well, I'm assuming the running bit was put in several weeks later, after her ankle had healed. It just made me scratch my head in befuddlement.

If they film stuff out of order, it could've been filmed first. I don't know what a shooting schedule for a Hawaii 5-0 episode is like, but some TV shows film sequences out of order. That isn't strictly a movie making approach to filming.

No, what I meant was if the actress herself had hurt her ankle, and they needed to have a reason for her confined to the office, they could have inserted the running scene in, and filmed it after her ankle had healed enough.

I swear, the only reason I could see for that entire bit was to show how strong and fit Alex Steve is. ;)

That's as good a reason as any [g]

They could have at least made some kind of reference to how Steve's team always seems to injure themselves around him -- Danny's knee, Lori's ankle...

Yeah. It was a low point in the ep. But I thought the rest of it more than made up for it. :) (Because I am such an angst fan.)

I just find this show to have the most WTF? moments of anything I watch. I'm not sure anyone is really paying attention to what they slap into the script.

I don't understand why she needs to be on the show period.
Alex running is always a good thing!
Danno was BAD ASS!!
And, we got to see Mark Deklin (STAN) again. It's all good!

I wish Mark was in it more often. Or that he'd get his show.

Mark Deklin
