Peggy.

That somehow Peggy gets time traveled, or is frozen, or immortal, and they can be together present day.

I think it would depend on the circumstances of the death.

Tony and Pepper have lots of kids and grandkids that Charlotte can spoil.

Hey, it's me - I can think of lots! How about the opposite of the above? Tony grows old and alone and drunk and even drives Charlotte away.
