Pet Food Class Action Lawsuit

For the pet owners on my f'list, information on the lawsuit against almost all the major players. We're once more trying to find something safe to feed our brood.

That's awful about that lady's 5 year old kittie. I've been feeding my kitties 9 lives since 1981 and I haven't had any problems. I wonder if they will be able to correlate the food and the actual illness/deaths? I imagine that is the main point of the lawsuit. But considering what the little buggers will eat on their own I've never been too worried about it.
