Pluses and Minuses

First, the minus - this was the year, if I got a tax refund, that I was going to replace the window that doesn't open in my room with one that does. I so wanted cross draft in this room. Now, of course, no window for Ith. Tax refund will probably end up going to cat food and people food over the next few months. Notice how cats come first.

Now for the plus - that we paid in advance for May's Avengers trip to Vegas, especially as strangevisitor7 had already bought her plane tickets. Room was paid for months back. I am extremely glad we planned this last year. And that we only live 2 hours away.

I doubt I'll get a refund. I haven't in years. But going to do my taxes Saturday.

Cat food and people food is good. I wish you had enough to do the window too though. Cody just got approved for an extension of 20 weeks unemployment. I don't know what he'll do after that. Can you believe it though? They told him he wouldn't get it if he still lived in Washington State because the unemployment is too low there!

Well cat food is much more important than human food anyway.

Fingers crossed your Mum or brother (or even both) get another job soon, and take the pressure off you a bit.

Here's hoping WE get our refund......Cable news reported theft has been appalling, e.g. over 20,000 thefts in one city in Florida alone, so I was stressed to hear my tax preparer say "IRS now requires electronic transfer of all forms"
I do not do any business transactions ONLINE, as in zero
for this very reason. Drug dealers have moved off the street to their laptops.......
