My story for
hl_chronicles is due in September, and I've had a pretty good idea of what it's going to be since I signed up. I really was going to try and not make it a crossover, honest to goodness. And I've occasionally batted back a pushy character, who really thought he should be in it, who shall remain nameless, but now he brought friends to rush me, and damn it, I think it's going to be a crossover. It just seems to work better as I'm mentally constructing it. Maybe I'll write two versions, one that's not a xover for the Chronicles and a xover one for me. Or not. Thoughts? Tequila? Commiseration?
And now I want to watch PotC CotBP, which is actually in no way related to the above, though now I've thought about it, Jack is pretty sure he should be in the story and I should move it back a few centuries.

Date: 2012-07-24 04:04 am (UTC)From:My reboot is three-quarters finished, and it didn't go quite the way I envisioned it, I may literally have a cast of thousands (technically) in here. Because the daughter of a character showed up and demanded to be included in her real father's life again, and it just went off from there.
On the other hand, my episode tag is showing potential to be a xover, but that's just because of the episode I picked, and I'm struggling to keep any xover small and perhaps anonymous.
And on the third hand, once I got into that whole HL thing again, well -- damn. I just wrote an outline for a Methos/MacLeod centered season 6. Why did I agree to do this again?
