We haven't seen the sun for several days (It's summer, it's Monterey, which equals days of fog) and just now the sun started to peep through the clouds and it made me wince in pain as my eyes tried to adjust to the shock [g]
And just in the time it's taken me to write this post, the sun is once again all gone.
Later: heard at last night's party:
"Do you want your coat?"
"Of course I want my coat -- it's summer in Monterey!"
