Timeless, Air Date: Feb. 1996

World famous pianist Claudia Jardine has a secret that even she doesn't know -- she's destined to become Immortal. Immortal impresario Walter Graham, who has guided the careers of mortal greats like Shakespeare, sees his chance to shepherd Claudia's genius forever and kills her, triggering her latent Immortality -- against MacLeod's better judgment. Meanwhile, Methos has fallen for Alexa, a waitress at Joe's who has a secret of her own. ~ via tv.com

Alexa: Your accent. You're not from here.
Methos: No, I've travelled a lot.
Alexa: Really? Paris.
Methos: Paris is too full of Parisians. Even the French don't like Paris.
Alexa: Venice.
Methos: Venice, the smell alone will kill you.
Alexa: Little young to be so cynical, aren't you?
Methos: Uh, if you say so.
Alexa: I just did.
Methos: What did I say?
Joe: Ah, forget it. Alexa's not your type, okay?

Duncan: Don't say a word.
Methos: Oops. Where's Alexa? We, uh, we have a date.
Joe: She called in sick.
Methos: Where does she live?
Joe: Adam, she doesn't want to see you, okay? Just leave her alone.
Methos: Joe, I didn't ask for your opinion. I know she's dying, okay? You are all dying. Twenty years. Six months. What's the difference?
Joe: She's protecting herself. She's protecting you, don't you get it?
Methos: Yes, I get it. Now tell me where she lives.

lol, what's funny is that the Methos & Alexa story is just he B storyline. Claudia is the A storyline. But when you think of Timeless - what do you think of? Alexa!

And Methos, of course. I did like Walter. In his own way,he was just as much an imp as Fitz. And the sword fight between Duncan and Walter at the end was just awesome.

The end of this show is just so memorable. First, you have Adrian Duncan standing there - his hair down - gorgeous and looking very sad.

Then you have Peter Methos looking very very cute and also very sad as he and Alexa get ready to leave.

Then you have that moment when Methos leans in and it looks like he's going to kiss Duncan - it's just such a close moment without them actually embracing when Methos brushes by Duncan to say good-bye. Just enough hesitancy as he gets so close to Duncan - then pulls away.

*sigh*

As for quotes - don't forget the one where Methos says "6 months - twenty years, what's the difference? You all die". Or something very close to that. Peter says they almost lost that line in editing, but he fought to keep it in because it is just so Methos.

To be honest, whenever it's a Methos ep. I barely remember any other part of the episode. Heh. I'm curious if those who don't like Methos only really recall the front story though.

And Methos, of course. I did like Walter. In his own way,he was just as much an imp as Fitz. And the sword fight between Duncan and Walter at the end was just awesome.

I think it was on the DVD extra stuff where they said initially Walter was a bad guy. I'm glad they went with the Walter they did. Great character.

In Sydney, David A and Adrian had a conflict on the interpretation of two scenes in Something Wicked and Deliverance and what certain scenes showed or meant. It's very interesting.

Not just the fans. One of the things we've talked about in the past is that the writers, actors and directors of the show also see certain scenes and characters differently. In Sydney, David A and Adrian had a conflict on the interpretation of two scenes in Something Wicked and Deliverance and what certain scenes showed or meant. It's very interesting.

[nods in agreement] One of the best things about getting the DVDs recently was all the extra stuff. And the stuff you hear at panels and such at cons.
