Survived the Weekend

Jen got in around 4pm, so we had snacks and a late dinner. We watched a little Firefly, last week's Holby, which she hadn't seen yet, and then Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually. We actually stayed up till 3am watching movies! Haven't done that in ages.

Sunday we had brunch, watched more Firefly, then went to the mall for something ninjababe needed and I ended up getting a pretty bracelet on sale and then we took Jen to Chico's to buy her some new tops. Got myself one too while we are at it. Then we went to the pub on the wharf for dinner.

And our great accomplishment of the weekend? We got Jen on LJ! Nin did what I did to robi_travels, she went in and set it up for her. So Jen is now tequilajen! Wheee! Now I have to stop talking about her [g]

Well, I have to go do payroll now.

At her Soul2Soul tour stop in Lafayette, LA on Saturday night, one fan got a little grabby with Faith's better half, Tim McGraw -- and Faith ain't havin' none o' that!

"Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend," Faith scolded the fan. "You don't go grabbin' somebody else's -- somebody's husband's balls, you understand me? That's very disrespectful."

New DVR came in, and I mostly have it set up. now I see why the girl on the phone last week told me I'd have to call to finish the install - their 'step by step' guide is crap. Several steps aren't included. But guess what? I winged it, and got it working, without having to call in! Go me! The only thing missing is my ABC station, but that might take a cycle through to show up, so will check again tomorrow.

Other than that, it's quiet and I'm thinking of reading old fic of mine to see if I can't jolt my muse into starting on the next bit of 'Fondly'.

BTW, my new salsa recipe? Rocked! If I do say so myself [g]
