ithildin: (Grey's - Ruler of All Evil)
Do remember to eat at some point during the day, and do make some of it protein so as not to suffer the raging low protein headache like you have right now!

Noted.

And speaking of eating, I realize we haven't been to See's yet to get Chocolate Butter Cream Easter Eggs. I've had those every year as far back as I can remember, other than the years we lived in Canada. Must not miss a year! I don't eat a lot of candy, but I really love the butter cream eggs!

Anyone else watching Dancing With the Stars? Yeah, nothing to do with eating, but since when have my posts ever held to one theme? I'm looking forward to the women dancing tonight. Kristi Yamaguchi! I used to be a huge figure skating fan, so I'm really looking forward to her being one of the contestants this season.

I came home to find that [livejournal.com profile] ninjababe had transferred all my new CDs to iTunes! So instant new music with no work! I belong to the BMG music Club, and I only buy when they have a big sale. They recently had all CDs at $6.99 plus free shipping, so I picked up:

Loreena McKennitt - Nights From Alhambra (2 CDs & 1 DVD!)
Keith Urban - Greatest Hits (with a DVD!)
AngelVoices - Libera in Concert (New group to me, but it sounded good from the clips)
Snow Patrol - Final Straw
Josh Turner - Everything is Fine

And ironically enough, as I was filling in the music playing on my entry, guess what started? Loreena McKennitt - Bonny Portmore! I swear!

ithildin: (What's Left - Triona Twilight)
I'm listening to my new music, and Penelope's Song by Loreena McKennitt just started. For those of you reading 'I Remember You Not Fondly', this was the song I was thinking of during the part where Triona has been burning in the sun and hears music as she comes back to life. The lyrics seemed fitting somehow.

Now that the time has come Soon gone is the day There upon some distant shore You'll hear me say )

I think it works as a song that fits the story overall. Don't you think?

A hint about what freakin' doctor Peter is on Men in Trees!

In Elmo, meanwhile, Sara meets an attractive doctor (Peter Wingfield) on an EMT run; and Celia arrests Patrick for his role in her auto accident.

Ooooh! Competition for Nicholas Lea's character! A Highlander alumni battle even.

Remember, tomorrow night on ABC!

I have mask jewelery, wall art, and even an actual wearable blue leather mask I sometimes use as part of my costume at cons. One of the vendors at Norwescon this year (No, I don't get to go this year either [sigh]) is Tormented Artifacts. They have some lovely creations and I thought some of you might be interested in taking a look.

I swear 2009 will be the year I start going to SF cons again. I so miss it :( And I miss having a place to wear my lovely capes and Edwardian coats.
