A More Permanent Hell

Glenn bought me a bag of Crio Bru a few weeks back, and it's so good!! It's from a local Utah company, so we can buy it in the grocery store locally. It's roasted cocoa beans ground like coffee, so you get a chocolate coffee sort of hot beverage. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so this is a nice change from my usual tea. And cocoa is full of things good for you, so bonus! It's pricey, so definitely a treat for me, but could see drinking it every day.

I discovered while at the Grand Canyon, that Pendleton now makes towels. They're gorgeous! I've been wanting to update my bath linens, as I've been using the same set for 10+ years now. Darned things won't die! They were high end towels I got on a going out of business sale, along with a shower curtain, which I'm also still using. My bathroom walls are a very dark grey, so the Pendleton towels will had a snap of colour, and I think a jewel tone, solid shower curtain will be perfect.

These are teas, people! Another reason tea is the best of beverages :D

I got an email touting the new fall, must have fashion trend, coated denim. I had no idea what this was. Turns out, it's jeans coated with some sort of resin to make them look like leather. Though they don't look it, supposedly, it's breathable. They look uncomfortable to me, not to mention expensive. I also discovered in the course of my research, that stirrup pants are back, though they seem to be part of the coated denim thing.

Some useless information for your day.

I see they're about to release a boxed set of all the Indiana Jones movies on BluRay for nearly $70. I wonder if they'll ever release the original movies on BluRay individually? I only want Raiders and Last Crusade. I can't do the bugs in Temple of Doom, and I really disliked the fourth skull one. They probably will eventually, but not till they've milked all they can from the box set.

In other news, I really want the new larger Kindle Fire! Not sure if the 4G one is worth it though. Haven't crunched numbers to see if what they charge for access is reasonable or not. We do have wireless at work now, but it's still filtered through the same net nanny software, so I wouldn't be able to use the tablet there really.

And in other other news, I think I have another stupid cold.
