Here I Be

Damn, I wish I could figure out why I get so much shoulder pain when I use the trackball at work and not at home. I have the same trackball and everything. I've even paid close attention to how I sit at home to see if there was a difference. Here I am, just an hour in, and my shoulder is beginning to hurt. By the end of the day, it will be wretched.

So yeah, I'm back at work. Still not feeling great, but there you go.

I'm sure everyone has heard by now that Atlantis has been canceled. It really surprised me -- it's not like there's a wealth of decent viewing on SciFi. I thought it was one of their highest rated scripted shows? Very strange. I'm going to miss it.

Women's Beach Volleyball last night was awesome!! I was on the edge of my seat. Yay! for Misti May and Kerri winning the Gold!

medie is having a Love Meme at her place. I mention this so I don't have to buy her dinner [g]

Waiting for my tea to steep, then maybe I'll feel a little more human.

Since we're coming up on Labour Day, and the summer season is almost over, here's my list of the fic I've written over the last few months.

First off, my big accomplishment: finally finishing I Remember You Not Fondly! Probably the hardest thing I've ever written, and the longest story I've written in something like ten years. I really felt a sense of accomplishment in completing it.

As for what else I wrote? I guess this summer was the season of the shiny new fandom knocking me down and taking over my brain. Thank you, Tony Stark!

The Four Paws company makes a toy ball that caused this poor dog to have to have his tongue amputated. It's heartbreaking what happened to this poor animal. Make sure your dogs don't have any of these balls, and share this with others so the same thing doesn't happen to them.

How come when I don't have the money, this turns out to be the autumn with shoes and purses I really want? I've been wanting a new purse for a few years now, and haven't found anything that grabbed me that wasn't outrageously priced. So I get Fossil's fall preview email, and look! A bunch of purses I really want. And in shoes, vintage style shoes are in, finally! But, alas... Yes, I'm pouting.
