Christmas Eve Morning

Here at work, but hoping we'll get to go home early. Need to do payroll, but that's about it. Listening to the classical station and all the lovely Christmas music they're playing. Bundled up in many layers trying to stay warm! Should go make tea to aid in that!

Casey has sent back the last part of the Xmas fic, so I hope to have it up by this afternoon! I actually finished it before Christmas! Go me!

Now, off to make tea and do payroll and take Tylenol. My neck went out yesterday and it vexes me!

Well, the new upgraded version of Kronos they installed last week won't work [insert Highlander joke here]. So I can't do payroll until it's fixed. I hope it's today! I'm supposed to be off Friday and really don't want to have to come into work. It's the first time ever I've taken the day after Xmas off so I could have a four day weekend.

( Despite the excitement and lateness of the hour the night before, Ezra was still up before the birds Christmas morning. After recounting his recent adventures to his mother, and consuming a mountain of cookies and what seemed like a quart of hot cocoa, he had finally fallen asleep sitting between Maude and Charlotte. The two women had carried the sleeping boy up the stairs to his room, undressed him, got him into his nightclothes, and put him to bed. Charlotte, quietly slipping from the room, had left Maude sitting by the side of his bed, watching her sleeping son. )
